Shiseido Company, Limited (“Shiseido”) has decided to invest in FiNC, Inc. (“FiNC”) through Shiseido Venture Partners, Shiseido’s corporate venture capital. Moreover, Shiseido and FiNC have entered into a business alliance agreement to develop new services in the Beauty/Healthcare field.

Shiseido aims to “Be a Global Winner with Our Heritage.” “New Value Creation through Innovation” is one of Shiseido’s priority strategies under the “New Three-Year Plan” (2018-2020). Its aim is to merge Shiseido’s own knowledge and experience with the capabilities of acquired brands and technologies as well as the expertise of talented human resources in order to not only produce innovation in cosmetics but also build innovative business models and explore new frontiers such as personalized beauty services and digital beauty content.

FiNC is a healthcare technology startup, which provides preventive healthcare services by leveraging a unique AI technology. It is a team of professionals such as doctors, pharmacists, support trainers, nutritionists, engineers, data scientists and others.

Through this collaboration, Shiseido and FiNC will accelerate the creation of new value with cutting-edge technologies and services in the Beauty/Healthcare field.
